Product Care
I. Natural Marble
As we leave our marble in its raw, uncoated state to preserve its authentic essence, it remains a living, porous material.
- Absorption: Avoid contact with oils, acidic liquids (citrus, wine), or dark pigments, as these may penetrate the stone and leave a permanent mark.
- Cleaning: Wipe spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth. Use only water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Never use abrasive sponges or acidic household cleaners.
- The Patina: Over time, the marble may develop a subtle patina. This is not a defect, but a sincere reflection of the stone’s interaction with its environment.
- Please note our marble products are not intended for food use
II. Titanium-Coated Brass
The brass components are treated with a Titanium Oxide coating—a high-performance finish designed to prevent tarnishing and maintain structural brilliance.
- Daily Care: A simple wipe with a dry, microfiber cloth is sufficient to remove fingerprints or dust.
- Chemical Warning: Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, or cleaning agents containing bleach or ammonia. These can compromise the integrity of the finish.
- Integrity: While Titanium Oxide is exceptionally durable and scratch-resistant, avoid striking the metal against hard surfaces to prevent micro-fractures in the finish.
III. Gilded Bone China
Our bone China is characterized by its remarkable translucency and hand-applied metallic rim.
- Hand Wash Recommended: To preserve the brilliance of the gilded edge, we strongly advise against the use of dishwashers. High-temperature cycles and abrasive detergents will erode the gold over time.
- Microwave Safety: Due to the real metallic content in the rim, these pieces are not microwave safe.
- Maintenance: Use a soft sponge and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scouring pads to maintain the surface finish.
IV. Fragile Stemwares
- While our glassware has successfully passed thermal shock tests, we advise against extreme, abrupt temperature fluctuations (e.g., pouring boiling liquid into a chilled glass). Gradual transitions preserve the clarity of the glass.
- Although structurally resilient, we recommend hand washing to prevent the micro-fractures and “clouding” often caused by mechanical dishwasher friction.
- Dry immediately with a lint-free microfiber cloth to prevent water spots. When polishing, hold the glass by the bowl rather than the stem to respect its delicate pressure points.
